During an interlude in his set, Kamikaze pissed off audience members with his comments about President George W. Bush. The rapper claims that members of the Young Republican Party later complained about the show. The next, day, he received a letter from Millsaps College, chastising him for his comments. Silly him—that’s not the Bush that Millsaps had in mind!

THINGS DON’T GO BETTER WITH COKE: Eric Claptonis once again including "Cocaine" (the song, of course) in his set list. As founder of the Crossroads Centre addiction recovery center, Clapton, a former substance abuser, had dropped the song upon reaching sobriety. Now, he says, he realizes that the song has an anti-drug message. "It’s one of those songs that you can take any way you like," he says. "But it very clearly says in the opening verse, ‘If you wanna get down, down on the ground.’ … That’s what the song’s about, is that, you knowhing sobriety. Now, he says, he realizes that the song has an anti-drug message. "It’s one of those songs that you can take any way you like," he says. "But it very clearly says in the opening verse, ‘If you wanna get down, down on the ground.’ … That’s what the song’s about, is that, you know, there’s a price." Yeah, the stuff’s not cheap, for sure!

SOMEONE REALLY NEEDS A MIDOL!<: Avril Lavigne spit on yet another photographer, this time hitting the man in the face. After celebrating her 22nd birthday at Hyde, Lavigne unleashed a torrent of "f*** you’s" to the paparazzi and autograph seekers, even signing some pictures by adding that lovely message to them. Lavigne and her circle then got into their Halliburton-mobile, better known as an SUV, where the classy broad rolled the window down and spit in the photographer’s face while laughing hysterically and screaming, "Bitch!" This was the second night in a row Lavigne spit on a photographer. The night before, she aimed her saliva at a TMZ.com cameraman's lens outside the same nightclub. Won’t be so damn funny when someone fires back, probably with a well-deserved souvenir from a passing canine.

He added, "We also condemn the track 'Skeleton Christ,' as the lyrics are an insult to Christianity." So are Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. Why isn’t anyone recalling them?

JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT TO LIVE FOR: Sebastian Bachis on the road with whatever incarnation of Guns N' Roseson their Chinese Democracy tour. ("Several times" probably meaning when Rose bothered to show up on time … or show up at all.) Bach's previous band, >Skid Row<, opened GN'R's Use Your Illusion tour in 1991.

In addition to touring the world, Bach has been busy developing a television career and working on a new album. Over the summer, he starred with Ted Nugent… eh, who cares?

(In other words, he’s just like every other guy.) The 35-year-old country singer filed for divorce last month from 43-year-old >Craig Schelske<, who obviously has a future in politics. The couple married in 1993 and have three children.

DMX should be seeking classes in basic grammar.

CAN A COUNTRY RADIO BOYCOTT BE FAR BEHIND?<: In the midst of a highly conservative, right-wing segment of the music industry, Tim McGrawis taking chances and isn’t afraid to go public. "It’s innate in me to be a Democrat—a true Southern populist kind of Democrat. There’s not a lot of those anymore," the country superstar told Time magazine in its October 23 issue. "The issues that matter to me are the social safety nets for people, health care, middle-class concerns. We need to take care of the middle class and the poor in our country. The chasm is getting larger between haves and have-nots, and that’s something we need to close down a little bit."

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE<: >Paul McCartney<’s estranged wife claims he stabbed her in the arm with a broken wine glass, used drugs and drank to excess, according to a report in Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, citing a court document.
