Mills Acoustics’ power cabs have the highest review rating of any product in the history of Harmony Central.
Mills Acoustics uses only 18mm, 13-ply Baltic Birch, void-free cabinet plywood for their sides, speaker baffle and rear panel. Every square inch is coated with industrial waterproofing sealer prior to assembly. Their plywood corners use a routed "glue joint." Each outside corner is drilled and locked together with 3/8" oak dowels. Each inside cabinet corner contains a 1/8" steel angle reinforcement plate. Their brace is a full 16" deep, acoustically ported, vertical section of 3/4" birch, screwed to the 3/4" birch baffle and 3/4" birch rear panel. This greatly strengthens the cabinet and dramatically reduces inside "standing waves." When you try a Mills cab for the first time, you immediately hear a difference.
